You can see this by the fact that the pot becomes lighter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Water the plant with water and fertilizer (e.g. with an <a href=\"https:\/\/drain-master.de\/ec-wert-ueberwachung-und-drainage-management\/\">EC value of<\/a> 900\u00b5S) until the substrate is saturated and drainage water is collected in the collection tray (FLUT).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Pull out the collection tray and measure the conductivity in the drainage water with an <a href=\"https:\/\/drain-master.de\/ec-wert-ueberwachung-und-drainage-management\/\">EC value<\/a> meter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Evaluate the read measured value (e.g. setpoint: 2000\u00b5S). If the measured value is too high, reduce the fertilizer quantity for the next watering or, in case of strong deviations, flush with watering water without fertilizer (e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/drain-master.de\/ec-wert-ueberwachung-und-drainage-management\/\">EC value<\/a> 300\u00b5S). If the reading is too low, increase the amount of fertilizer slightly for the next watering.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Document the knowledge gained and wait for the next EBBE.
