What exactly does the DrainMaster do for me?
Three things: First, your pot will never sit in waterlogging again, because the drainage water flows freely into the drip tray, preventing root rot and fungus gnats. Second, for the first time, you can cleanly collect and measure the drainage water: the pH and EC of the drain reveal what’s really happening in the substrate. Third, it lifts your pot to working height from the cold floor, keeping the root zone warmer and healthier.
What pot sizes fit on the DrainMaster?
The classic DrainMaster has a footprint of 24 × 24 cm at the top (25 × 25 cm at the bottom) and supports up to 50 kg. This fits common pots up to about 11 to 15 liters. For larger pots, such as 25-liter containers or coco slabs, there is the DrainMaster XL with a 38 × 38 cm footprint and a 100 kg load capacity. With the plug-in extenders, you can increase both variants by 5 cm each, if you want more distance to the tray.
Why should I measure my drainage water?
Because it’s the most honest feedback from your plant. The EC value of the drain shows you whether salts are accumulating in the substrate (drain EC significantly above feed EC) or if your plant is hungry (drain EC below feed EC). The pH of the drain reveals whether your substrate is shifting the value. Without drainage measurement, you’re fertilizing blindly; with DrainMaster and a pH/EC meter like the Apera PC60-Z, you’re steering based on real data.

In Germany. We manufacture the DrainMaster from robust ASA plastic, which won’t become brittle even after years in a humid grow room. It was developed from our own growing practice because there simply wasn’t a sensible product for clean drainage management. How does the set with configurable size work?
You simply choose the number of stands you need, from a single set to a full setup for the entire tent. Each DrainMaster comes with a matching drip tray, and as the set size increases, the unit price decreases. Typical configurations: 4 stands for a 100×100 tent, 6 to 10 for larger spaces. Reordering and mixing with XL variants is possible at any time.
