The plant never sits in its own runoff. The grooves funnel it toward the center and from there into the tray or directly into the hose.

No drainage water on the floor of the grow box. The smooth design can be rinsed under a water jet in seconds; it is even dishwasher-safe.
Measure pH and EC in drainage water
The meter goes directly into the drip tray. No decanting, no lifting pots—whether for new substrate or ongoing adjustments.
Watering volume in view
By looking at what ends up in the tray, you can immediately see if you have watered too much or too little. The collected water can be reused.
Perfect drainage even for large pots
The DrainMaster supports 50 kg and accommodates pots with a base diameter of up to 24 cm, which includes all standard plastic pots up to 18 liters. If the pot is wider at the bottom, such as fabric pots from 18 liters upwards, the DrainMaster XL with a 39.3 × 39.3 cm footprint is the right fit. The base diameter is always the deciding factor, not the liter capacity.
