ORP meters: keep an eye on redox potential

The ORP value (oxidation-reduction potential) shows in millivolts how oxidising or reducing a water is – important in water treatment, with disinfectant solutions and anywhere the oxygen and germ balance of a solution needs to be controlled. The Apera ORP60 measures redox potential with laboratory accuracy in pocket format.

Part of that control is the ORP standard solution at 220 mV, which you use to check the meter regularly, plus the matching replacement electrode as a wear part. That keeps the measuring chain reliable for years.
