The ORP standard solution 220 mV is used for checking and regenerating ORP electrodes.
To check functionality, immerse the electrode in the ORP solution in a separate vessel. The measured mV value must not deviate by more than ± 15 mV from the value stated on the bottle (at your temperature). If the value is outside this ± 15 mV range, leave the electrode in the 220 mV standard solution for 15–30 minutes. This prepares the electrode surface for measurements and shortens the response time.
