Can I replace the PH60’s electrode?

With the PH60, you simply buy a new electrode instead of a new device. The device is also compatible with all Apera 60-series electrodes, including the ORP60-DA for Redox measurements.
What do the three display colors mean?
The display changes its background color depending on the mode: Blue is the normal measurement mode, Green indicates calibration mode, and Red warns you via the Heads-Up function, for example, if a calibration has failed or a reading is out of range. This allows you to see at a glance, even out of the corner of your eye, what the device is doing, without having to read the fine print.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 1,000 hours of measurement operation with one set of AAA batteries, which are already included. The automatic shutdown after 8 minutes of inactivity contributes to this. In practice, this means that even with daily measurements, you’ll only change the batteries at most once a year. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste; take them to a collection point, as described on the product page.
Who benefits from the PH60 over the PH20?
The PH60 is worthwhile in three cases: First, if you truly utilize the ±0.01 accuracy, for example, with sensitive crops or scientific requirements.
